Ingredients:
1 tablespoon canola or olive oil1/2 cup onion, chopped fine2-3 cloves garlic, minced3/4 pound fresh mushrooms of choice, sliced2 tablespoons Arrowroot1 1/2 cup water or Vegetable Stock2 tablespoon Tamari1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions: |
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and saute about 2 minutes, then add the mushrooms.
Continue to saute until the mushrooms are softened, about 5 minutes.
Dissolve Arrowroot in water or stock and add to the mushroom mixture. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Add Tamari and pepper and continue to stir another minute.
Serve immediately. |
